Pöyry awarded owner's engineering services contract for 870 MW combined cycle power plant project in Turkey

Pöyry has been awarded an owner's engineering services contract for an 870 MW
combined cycle power plant project in Turkey by OMV Aktiengesellschaft, Austria.
The value of the assignment is not disclosed.
The power plant will be located in the Samsun Province on the Black Sea coast in
Turkey. The project comprises two gas-fired single shaft units with all required
ancillary and auxiliary systems.
Over the next 2.5 years Pöyry will assist the client in the review of the
contractor's detail design, the inspection of workshop tests, the site
supervision of construction and erection and the commissioning and testing.
