Golar LNG Partners LP Third Quarter 2011 Cash Distribution

Golar LNG Partners LP (NASDAQ: GMLP) announced today that its board of directors has declared a quarterly cash distribution with respect to the quarter ended September 30, 2011 of $0.40 per  unit. This represents an increase of $0.015 per unit or 3.9 percent from the previous quarter. As previously announced, following the acquisition of Golar Freeze, the Partnership's management recommended to the Board that the quarterly distribution rate be increased to $0.43 per common unit for the quarter ended December 31, 2011. The Board has however decided to approve an earlier commencement of part of this increase with the balance of the increase to be considered for the fourth quarter of 2011. The total recommended increase of $0.43 per unit represents an 11.7 percent increase in distribution.
