Kesko established a Service Centre for Customer Information and E-business

KESKO CORPORATION PRESS RELEASE 19.6.2012 AT 12.00 1(2) Kesko has established a Service Centre for Customer Information and E-business. The service centre contains two units: Customer and Market Analytics, and E- business. The Customer and Market Analytics unit offers analytics, reporting, and market research services and is responsible for managing customer information. The E-business unit supports K-stores and chains in developing online services for customers. ETM Mika Leiponen (46) has been appointed head of the service centre. At the moment, Leiponen is Executive Vice President of Anttila Oy. Leiponen has a strong and long experience in online services in marketing, customer services, online sales and logistic models. MMM Antti Syväniemi (36) has been appointed Customer Intelligence Director of the Customer and Market Analytics unit. AMK-datanomi Petteri Piipponen (45) has been appointed as E-Business Director of the E-business unit. The appointments will take effect on 1 July 2012. - The most important task of the service centre is to ensure and facilitate the individual service of customers in each K-store and chain. We also want to make sure that our partners cooperating in the K-Plussa customer loyalty system have the best information and tools available in the market so that they can implement services and communication tailored to their customers. Service offerings in the future will be increasingly based on the identification of different customer needs and situations. With online services, we can enable customers to use our services how and when they like, says Minna Kurunsaari, member of the Corporate Management Board. - In tomorrow's marketing, it is the customers who are in control of the dialogue and decide which messages they want to receive.
