Ahlstrom completes the sale of its shares in Jujo Thermal to Nippon Paper Industries

Ahlstrom Corporation STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE December 30, 2013 at 15.30 Ahlstrom, a global high performance fiber-based materials company, has today completed the sale of its shares in Jujo Thermal Ltd to Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. Under the agreement, Ahlstrom sold its shares in Jujo Thermal to Nippon Paper Industries for a purchase price of EUR 2.75 million. The transaction was announced on December 23, 2013. Jujo Thermal Ltd, a company manufacturing thermal paper in Kauttua, was established in 1992 by Ahlstrom Corporation, Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd and Mitsui & Co., Ltd.
