Vaisala has signed a contract to deliver radiosondes to its long-term customer.

of 2018. The value of the deal is EUR 11.0 million.
Radiosondes are meteorological devices that are used to measure pressure,

radiosonde reaches an altitude of up to 30 kilometers and transmits continuous
data to ground equipment during its ascent. The ground-based sounding system
processes the data and converts it into meteorological weather messages.
