EIKA BOLIGKREDITT AS: PILLAR 2 REQUIREMENT
The Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) has set the Pillar 2 requirement for Eika Boligkreditt AS (EBK) to 0.5% of risk-weighted assets. Pillar 2 capital requirement includes capital for risk factors that are not captured by the Pillar 1 requirement. The requirement must be covered by core equity tier 1 capital and applies from 30 November 2017.
The pillar 2 requirement comes in addition to the minimum and buffer requirements for core tier 1 capital in pillar 1. EBK's requirement will be 12% from 30 November 2017. EBK had a core tier 1 capital ratio of 12.6% at 30 June 2017.
