Solid growth in business activities in first nine months: Turnover of
CHF 1,060,800,000 and +23.2% at current exchange rates and on a
constant consolidation basis
Compagnie Financière Tradition's consolidated turnover in the first
nine months of the year grew by 19.6% to CHF 1,060.8 million at
current exchange rates (19.5% at constant rates), compared with CHF
886.9 million a year ago.
At current rates and on a constant consolidation basis consolidated
turnover was up by 23.2%.
The Group reported record-breaking quarterly growth in business
volumes. Third-quarter consolidated turnover reached CHF 384.1
million, a rise of 32.4% at current exchange rates over the same
period last year. At current exchange rates and on a constant
consolidation basis Q3 consolidated turnover was up by 35.8%.
The United Kingdom accounted for 35.1% of turnover, the United States
32.5%, Continental Europe 11.5%, and Asia 20.9% in the year to 30
September.
Compagnie Financière Tradition completed the disposal of Monecor on
29 October 2007, after receiving the green light from the UK
Financial Services Authority (FSA). Monecor is a financial spread
betting company catering to private investors.
