Toledo Mining Corporation plc Appoints New Non-Executive Director

Toledo Mining Corporation plc ("Toledo" or the "Company") (AIM:TMC)
is pleased to announce the appointment of Constantine Thanassoulas as
a non-executive director, effective immediately.
Mr Thanassoulas was the Chief Executive Officer of Larco SA, the
largest ferronickel company in Europe from 2004 - 2008. Prior to
this, he has held a number of senior positions in the banking sector,
including Managing Director, Gobal Head of Derivatives for Barclays
Bank and Chief Operating Officer of Sanwa (UFJ) International PLC.
Commenting on the announcement, George Bujtor, Chief Executive, said
"I am delighted to welcome Constantine to Toledo Mining. With his
wealth of knowledge across the mining and banking sectors, I believe
he will make a strong contribution to the Company and further enhance
our Board as we seek to progress up the value curve to become both a
nickel laterite producer and processor within the next five years."
Mr Thanassoulas is currently a partner of Eilon Associates Ltd, an
investment banking consultancy and has been the past President of the
European Finance Association and President of the European Financial
Management Association.
