(London, 06 October 2008) - Pharmainvest Master Account LP; one of
the funds, under the management of GEM Global Equities Management SA
("GEM"), has purchased 631,783 shares of Eastpharma Ltd.
("Eastpharma") representing approximately 0.93% of the issued share
capital of Eastpharma on 30 September 2008. After this purchase,
Pharmainvest Master Account LP has increased its holdings to 52.49%,
while the funds under the management of GEM, as the controlling
shareholders have increased their holdings to 64.92% of the issued
share capital of Eastpharma.
