A 47 years old graduate from the "Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications", Christophe Aulnette began his career at an IT services company (SDP) before in 1986 joining Microsoft France, where he was successively a sales engineer and Director of the Key Accounts Division. Two years later, he was promoted to General Manager, Asia Business Development of Microsoft's Asia-Pacific office in Tokyo where he was then again promoted to President for southern Asia, based in Singapore. In mid-2001, he was called back to France to take over as President of Microsoft France, Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
