Fokus Bank has chosen Aker Brygge as the future location for a full fledged and
customer focused house of finance in Oslo. Fokus Bank will enter a rental
contract comprising approximately 6 400 square meters with a duration of 10
years from the expected relocation in January 2014. The rent is agreed on market
terms and reflects both the attractiveness of Aker Brygge and the standard of
the building after a planned refurbishment.
Fokus Bank will be located in one of the four buildings that constitute the
current head office of DnB NOR at Aker Brygge. DnB NOR will leave these areas in
March 2013, and Norwegian Property plans a major upgrade of the property in
order to offer modern functionality, space efficiency and environmental friendly
offices.
Parts of Fokus Bank's organisation is today located in Stortingsgaten 6, which
is also owned by Norwegian Property. The lease contract for this property will
be renewed on current terms from January 2013 to the expected relocation to Aker
Brygge in January 2014.
