Outotec provides process technology to Sierra Gorda copper-molybdenum project in
Chile
Outotec has signed a contract with Quadra FNX Mining Ltd. for the design and
delivery of process solution to the new copper-molybdenum concentrator located
in Sierra Gorda, close to Antofagasta in northern Chile. The contract value is
about EUR 26 million. The majority of the contract is booked in Outotec's Q3
order intake with a small part being booked in the fourth quarter.
Deliveries of Outotec TankCell(® )e300 flotation cells, concentrate and tailings
thickeners as well as filters are scheduled to be completed during 2012. In
addition, Outotec also provides installation, commissioning and start-up
services for the delivered equipment.
