Strategically-important agreement with Gjensidige

(Oslo, 14 December 2012) EVRY ASA has won a strategically important IT services contract with Gjensidige. Through the partnership agreement, EVRY will deliver secure cloud-based services based on new standardised solutions. EVRY will provide IT services that ensure high levels of availability for Gjensidige's business-critical applications through efficient infrastructure and reliable, secure operations on all platforms. The services will include: * Mainframe and Linux services with a particular focus on applications with demanding requirements for secure processing and data storage. * Windows and UNIX services through a new secure cloud-based delivery model (Future Proof). * A new, state-of-the-art desktop based on industry standards with high levels of performance that will also meet the requirements associated with "bring your own device". About the agreement The agreement with Gjensidige will run from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2018, with an option to extend for a further two years, and will replace existing agreements. In addition to operating services deliveries, EVRY will be a preferred partner for consulting services related to applications development and applications maintenance. The agreement represents total contract value in excess of NOK 700 million for the contract period.
