Ahlstrom's underwriting of convertible hybrid bond notes issued by Suominen has
ceased
Ahlstrom, a global high performance fiber-based materials company, announces
that its underwriting of convertible hybrid bond notes issued by Suominen
Corporation has ceased.
Suominen's convertible hybrid bond issue with a nominal value of EUR 17.5
million was fully subscribed.
The commitment was related to the financing of the transaction between Ahlstrom
and Suominen announced on January 10, 2014. The parties agreed on the sale of
the shares of Ahlstrom Fabricação de Não-Tecidos Ltda to Suominen. The company
operates the Brazilian plant of Ahlstrom's former Home and Personal business
area. The transaction is expected to be completed in February 2014.
